Together with a number of friends, local businesswoman Talei Tora has been attending each and every Swire Shipping Fijian Drua home game in Fiji since the beginning of last season.
“This is just a group of close friends who are die hard fans of the Fijian Drua coming out to show our support for the team,” the 44-year-old said.
Since the Drua’s first home game of the season earlier this year, Talei and the group have been wearing different colored T-shirts with the Drua logo in showing their support for the team.
“We wear different colored T-shirts at every Drua game.
“This is just to standout from the crowd, showing the Drua that we are their biggest fans.”
The Drua die-hard fan said no price could be placed on being able to watch the Fijian Drua perform live on home soil.
“The atmosphere during a Drua home game is just amazing. There can never be a price on the experience whenever we come and watch them play.”
She also mentioned that the Fijjan Drua have lifted their performance on the field ever since being inducted into the Super Rugby competition.
“They have improved so much, it makes us so proud to see our boys going up against giant teams in the competition. And just being into their second season, they have showed that they can perform at a very competitive level of rugby.”
She also mentioned that watching all the Drua’s home games was worth every penny, and is looking forward to their next home game in Suva.
“All I can say is that watching all the Drua home game has been worth every single penny.
“I just want to let the boys know that we love them and are by their side all the way.
“Even if they take their home games to Lau or to Rakiraki, we will be there.”
