“It’s worth it to come and watch the Fijian Drua play live.”

This according to die-hard Fiji rugby fan Neumi Rawavatu who despite having a bad leg due to arthritis accompanied by his trusty wooden walking aid made his way to the Churchill Park all the way from Draubuta Village in Navosa.

The 59-year-old came with a group of four men from his village and revealed that two tickets was sponsored by the Fijian Drua management while they bought three tickets themselves.

“I always come and watch all the games, both in Lautoka and Suva and the $160 ticket is worth it,” he said.

Kolinio Levuiciva who was also part of the group said they were glad and excited that the village committee chose them and handed over the tickets.

“We are very happy to watch them live here today and hoping it would work wonders for the Drua team,” he said.

Draubuta Village is also home to former Flying Fijian flyer Isoa Neivua.
